Plug and Play (Cordaan)

We did this activity as a team outing. Everyone was very enthusiastic. They found it clear, challenging, and accessible to everyone.
We played it in teams of four, and everyone wanted to do it again because we couldn't solve all the puzzles within the time limit. It was easy to play in a single room with multiple teams; you didn't interfere with each other, and the audio for the challenges was easily adjustable so others couldn't hear along.
We will definitely do this again!!!

Contact with BoxCompany also went smoothly. I had to reschedule a few times, but that wasn't a problem. Afterward, I received a phone call to check if everything had gone well. It was fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone, whether as a team activity, a family weekend getaway, or simply for a fun challenge at home.

Deze activiteit als teamuitje gedaan. Iedereen was erg enthousiast. Vonden het duidelijk, uitdagend en voor iedereen toegankelijk.
We hebben het is teams van 4 gespeeld en iedereen wilde dit graag nog een keertje doen, omdat we niet alle puzzels binnen de tijd konden oplossen. Goed te spelen in 1 ruimte met meerdere teams, je had geen last van elkaar en ook het geluid van de opdrachten kon je goed aanpassen, zodat anderen niet konden meeluisteren :)
Wij gaan dit zeker nog een keertje doen!!!

Ook het contact met de BoxCompany verliep soepel, ik heb een aantal keer moeten verzetten, maar dit was geen probleem. Achteraf nog een telefoontje of alles naar wens was geweest. Heel fijn, ik zou het iedereen aanraden, als activiteit voor een team, familieweekend of gewoon voor thuis als een leuke uitdaging wilt.

HR outing

On Thursday, June 12th, we had an HR outing with about 70 colleagues. We started the afternoon with the Connect & Collab game. It's a great activity that requires collaboration and allows you to get to know each other better through a game element. The organization was excellent! Had a very successful afternoon with The Box Company

Super fun experience to introduce our project members to each other! We started with Play It Nice, Break The Ice. The group (internal and external parties) was nicely mixed with each other. This resulted in fun conversations. Then we did the Connect & Collab game. In teams we competed with each other. It was great to see how the collaboration within the teams went and how everyone could use their own expertise in the various assignments. The guidance from The Box Company was also great. Really recommended!

We played this escape game with a small team. Very fun and not too easy!
It required cooperation, math talent, logical thinking and a bit of luck. A good musical ear also worked wonders!

Connect & Collab

To kick off our staff party, The Box Company came by and we played Connect & Collab with approximately 110 people.
Friendly staff who despite a big accident on the highway were there well in time. Were available for questions during the games. Games were fun and a nice icebreaker, especially when partners of the staff are also present.
All in all definitely recommended. Only downside: it was said in advance that we could change the number of people up to a week in advance. However, there was a deviation percentage of 10%, this was not mentioned before. Because of this we paid too much for 25 people. If I had known this in advance I would have given a different number.

Als start van ons personeelsfeest is The Box Company langsgeweest en hebben wij met ongeveer 110 personen Connect & Collab gespeeld.
Vriendelijk personeel wat ondanks een groot ongeluk op de snelweg ruim op tijd aanwezig was. Waren beschikbaar voor vragen tijdens de spellen. Spellen waren leuk en een leuke ijsbreker, zeker wanneer er ook partners van het personeel aanwezig zijn.
Al met al zeker een aanrader. Enige minpuntje: van te voren was gezegd dat we het aantal personen tot een week van tevoren konden wijzigen. Echter was er een afwijkpercentage van 10%, dit was niet eerder vermeld. Hierdoor hebben wij voor 25 mensen teveel betaald. Als ik dit van te voren had geweten had ik een ander getal doorgegeven.

Very fun team activity!

This was a bull's eye! We chose the 'Plug & Play' experience. This allowed us to do the activity at a location of our choice. With 20 colleagues we competed against each other in five teams. The games are delivered ready-made and are varied and challenging. At the start we needed the helpline for a while, it was reachable by phone and our login problem was solved within a minute.

We did the escape room on location with about forty managers. It was really a perfectly organized and well-oiled whole with challenging assignments. We were all continuously busy; there was no time to slack off. I only got positive feedback from my colleagues. It was a very successful event!

We had a very pleasant time with The Box puzzles on our company event. It's a challenge to find out the questions and the fitting replies. The weather was great so, we were able to play outside as well. We recommend it for fun teambuilding time!

ASICS Review of Online Session with The Box Company

We recently had the opportunity to participate in an online team-building session organized by The Box Company. Overall, it was a fun and energizing experience that brought colleagues together in a unique and engaging way.
The session was well-received for its creativity and team dynamics, and many participants appreciated the enjoyable and entertaining atmosphere. It was a great way to break up the workday and connect with colleagues in a different context.
That said, a few areas for improvement were identified in our team's feedback. Several participants suggested incorporating more interactive activities throughout the session to maintain momentum and engagement. Additionally, clearer instructions at the start would help ensure everyone is aligned from the beginning, especially for first-time participants.
There were some initial technical issues, particularly with the session link. This led to one team starting ahead of others, which created a slight imbalance in the experience. We also found the timing to be quite tight—the session extended beyond the planned duration, which made it challenging for those with other work commitments.
We see great potential in this format and truly appreciate the effort The Box Company puts into making these sessions fun and team oriented. With a few adjustments—more interactive content, smoother technical setup, and clearer initial guidance—the experience could be even more impactful and enjoyable.

We searched the internet for a fun game to do during our team building. We played the game as a team of six people. Everyone was enthusiastic and participated. This was easy to do. Thanks to the people behind The Box Company for the fast delivery and that you were ready if necessary.
As a team we also suggest that it might be fun to make a ranking, so you can see where you ended up as a team (national, provincial). There was 1 assignment where the same ..... appears twice. That was annoying, maybe come up with another solution for that.

Wij zochten op internet een leuk spel om tijdens ons teambuilding nog even tussen door te doen. Het spel hebben wij als 1 team met zes personen gespeeld. Iedereen was enthousiast en deed mee. Dit was goed te doen. De personen achter The Box Company bedankt voor de snelle levering en dat jullie klaar stonden indien nodig.

Als team geven wij nog mee dat het misschien leuk is om een ranglijst te maken, zodat je kunt zien waar je als team (landelijk, provinciaal) geëindigd bent. Er was 1 opdracht waar 2x de zelfde ... voorkomt. Dat was wel irritant, misschien daar een andere oplossing voor verzinnen.

Super fun escape game

For a meeting with the entire company I was looking for a fun activity that could be done as a team. After a short Google search I ended up at The Box Company. I had nice contact right away and they thought along well. The final escape game was also really fun; even people who I had my doubts about whether they would like to participate really enjoyed it. For the 2nd event where a few of the same people were present there was a completely new game, which kept it fun for everyone. Really recommended for a fun team building activity!

Voor een bijeenkomst met het hele bedrijf was ik op zoek naar een leuke activiteit die in team verband gedaan kon worden. Na een korte google zoektocht kwam ik bij The Box Company uit. Ik had direct al leuk contact en er werd goed meegedacht. De uiteindelijke escape game was ook echt heel leuk; zelfs mensen waar ik mijn twijfels over had of ze leuk mee zouden doen vonden het ontzettend leuk. Voor het 2e evenement waarbij een paar van dezelfde mensen aanwezig waren was er een compleet nieuw spel, waardoor het voor iedereen leuk bleef. Nice 'out-of-the-box' addition to our selection day

We used The Office escape room on one of our selection days. It was a really great addition to observe candidates in this way. It feels like a fun game, but you unconsciously get a lot of information from it about cooperation and communication.
The coordination with The Box Company beforehand and on the day itself was also very pleasant. Clear, friendly and fast communication. Afterwards I received a phone call asking how we experienced the box. Very neat! I would recommend it to everyone!

Escape Room "Safety" by The Box Company

For a four-day event, the municipality of Rotterdam had a custom-made escape room provided by The Box Company, completely in the theme of safety. The result? A unique, interactive experience that perfectly matched our organization and objectives.
The escape room was not only strong in content, but also surprisingly creative and challenging. Colleagues were challenged to work together, think logically and make decisions under time pressure – exactly the skills that are also useful in our daily work.
The reactions were unanimously positive: all colleagues who participated were enthusiastic and appreciated the initiative enormously. It provided team building, fun and awareness in the field of safety - in a playful and effective way.
In short: highly recommended for any organisation that wants to draw attention to an important theme in an original way!

Voor een teambuildingdag is er gekozen voor de plug and play variant van de escape experience. De communicatie vooraf was prettig en vragen werden snel en duidelijk beantwoord. De boxen werden snel en prima aangeleverd met duidelijke instructies hoe alles uit te voeren. Iedereen deed fanatiek mee en de tijd vloog om. Achteraf hebben we alleen maar positieve reacties gekregen en andere afdelingen hebben ondertussen ook dit spel besteld voor hun teamdag.

Did a team building with the department where one part was the Escape box of The Box Company. Only received positive reactions from the team and they thought it was a shame that the time was up; could have lasted much longer as far as they were concerned. Really a very nice, exciting activity to do with your team. Contact with The Box Company has always been neat and materials were great. For our team a great success!

I purchased an activity for my company from TheBox Company. Communication was smooth and questions were answered quickly and clearly. The game itself was delivered perfectly with instructions on how to perform/set up everything. No problem afterwards to arrange everything ourselves. The game itself was played with 75 participants, in a large space within our company. The time flew by, and everyone became very fanatic (in a fun way)! Afterwards we only received positive reactions from our colleagues, and it was exactly the kind of activity/relaxation that we needed!

We really enjoyed our experience with Plug and Play Teambuilding! From the first contact, the collaboration was pleasant: quick responses to messages, clear communication and all agreements were neatly fulfilled. The organization actively thought along with us and was easily accessible, which made planning very smooth.
Although we only had 60 minutes available, the game was so much fun that we would have liked to spend 90 minutes afterwards. The diversity of puzzles and riddles ensured that everyone could participate, regardless of background or preference. The alternation between the physical board game and the interactive online elements (such as sounds) made it extra dynamic and surprising.
People got so into it that the snacks were even left behind – and that says it all, right? 😉
In short: an original, well-organized and engaging team building event that we highly recommend!

Wij hebben enorm genoten van onze ervaring met Plug and Play Teambuilding! Vanaf het eerste contact was de samenwerking prettig: snelle reacties op berichten, duidelijke communicatie en alle afspraken werden netjes nagekomen. De organisatie dacht actief met ons mee en was goed bereikbaar, wat het plannen erg soepel maakte.
Hoewel we slechts 60 minuten beschikbaar hadden, was het spel zó leuk dat we achteraf 90 minuten hadden willen uittrekken. De diversiteit aan puzzels en raadsels zorgde ervoor dat iedereen kon meedoen, ongeacht achtergrond of voorkeur. De afwisseling tussen het fysieke bordspel en de interactieve online elementen (zoals geluiden) maakte het extra dynamisch en verrassend.
Mensen gingen er zó in op, dat de hapjes zelfs bleven liggen – en dat zegt eigenlijk alles, toch? 😉
Kortom: een originele, goed georganiseerde en meeslepende teambuilding die we van harte aanbevelen!

Very fun team building activity!

The Plug & Play Box is highly recommended. The game was well put together and offered a lot of variety: from music questions to tough thinkers on various subjects. The great thing is that cooperation is essential, but the mutual competition makes it extra fun - you just want to win!
Also nice: as an organizer you don't have to prepare anything and you can just join in, because you, like the rest, have no prior knowledge of the assignments. The simplicity of the operation, the interactive elements and the diverse knowledge that is required from team members make this a top activity for every team!

On April 10th I played this game with my team. Highly recommended if you want to do something fun and educational with your team for little money. It is very stimulating and good for team development. In addition, it really requires cooperation and out-of-the-box thinking, which requires surprising insights into the capabilities of your employees. What are they good at? What role do they take on? Very fun to do, highly recommended! We played the game with 2 teams of 5 people each. Because we are spread all over the world, we used the digital version. In the beginning, everyone has to figure out how to best approach this, which means you have to communicate well and work together. Funny to see how team members approach this. Eventually it gets going and the true competitive nature comes to the fore. 60 minutes was actually too short!
If you get the chance, go for the option where you send the packages to the team members, it's even more fun than the digital version.

Each game provided a lot of interaction, fun and collaboration. We started with Play it Nice, Break the Ice. This was the perfect way to wake everyone up after presentations and made for some great conversations. Especially Connect & Collab was a great challenge where collaboration was key. Everyone got really excited!

A very exciting escape with the necessary questions and assignments in each field, so that everyone could show their own expertise in a blood-curdling match. Escapebox Challenge

Last week we had an Excapebox Challenge on location for the second time from our Staff Association. This year a different box than last year. The Box Company has done a great job! Even when something goes wrong, they solve it immediately so that the game can continue quickly. Our participants had to work hard but also really enjoyed it. Nicely competitive with colleagues after a day of work. Afterwards we already received a request from colleagues to organize it again. Very successful!

Afgelopen week voor de tweede maal een Excapebox Challenge op locatie gehad vanuit onze Personeelsvereniging. Dit jaar een andere box als vorig jaar. The Box Company heeft dit prima voor elkaar! Ook wanneer er even iets fout gaat lossen ze dit direct op zodat het spel weer snel door kan gaan. Onze deelnemers moesten fanatiek aan de bak maar vonden het wel ook ontzettend leuk. Lekker compentief aan de gang met collega's na een dag werken. Na afloop kregen we van de collega's al het verzoek om het nog een keer te organiseren. Zeer geslaagd dus!

Team building De Laak and De Kom

Recently, we at De Laak Primary School and De Kom Special Education experienced a teambuilding activity via The Box Company, and we can only praise the activity. It was a kind of online escape room where various challenging puzzles had to be solved to earn points, a fun experience!
The activity was very well organized, with a well thought out design that strengthened the collaboration within our team. We were divided into small groups and given the task to solve puzzles together. The goal was to collect as many points as possible by successfully completing different challenges, where collaboration and communication were essential. The diversity of the puzzles allowed each team member to use their strengths, from logical thinking and problem solving to creative thinking and quick decision making.
The Box Company had set up the online environment perfectly, which meant we didn't experience any technical problems. The puzzles were well varied and challenged our teams, but were always doable. What made this escape room so special was the dynamics of the activity: it quickly became clear that we really needed each other to complete the assignments, which greatly enhanced the mutual cooperation.
The Box Company supervisors were knowledgeable and ensured that the activity proceeded smoothly. They provided clear explanations where necessary, but also gave us enough space to work independently and creatively. The result was a great balance between challenge and fun, which made everyone participate enthusiastically and put their best foot forward.
In short, the online escape room was a very successful team building activity that not only offered fun, but also improved cooperation and communication within our team. We can therefore heartily recommend The Box Company to other schools or organizations that are looking for a fun and effective way to strengthen team dynamics.

Recent hebben wij als Basisschool De Laak en Speciaal Onderwijs De Kom een teambuildingactiviteit ervaren via The Box Company, en we kunnen niet anders dan vol lof spreken over de activiteit. Het was een soort van online escaperoom waarbij diverse uitdagende puzzels moesten worden opgelost om punten te behalen, een leuke ervaring!
De activiteit was uitstekend georganiseerd, met een goed doordachte opzet die de samenwerking binnen ons team versterkte. We werden verdeeld in kleine groepen en kregen de taak om samen puzzels op te lossen. Het doel was om zoveel mogelijk punten te verzamelen door verschillende uitdagingen succesvol af te ronden, waarbij samenwerking en communicatie essentieel waren. De diversiteit in de puzzels zorgde ervoor dat ieder teamlid zijn of haar sterke punten kon benutten, van logisch denken en probleemoplossing tot creatief denken en snelle besluitvorming.
The Box Company had de online omgeving perfect ingericht, waardoor we geen technische problemen ondervonden. De puzzels waren goed gevarieerd en stelden onze teams op de proef, maar waren altijd haalbaar. Wat deze escaperoom zo bijzonder maakte, was de dynamiek van de activiteit: het werd snel duidelijk dat we elkaar echt nodig hadden om de opdrachten te voltooien, wat de onderlinge samenwerking enorm bevorderde.
De begeleiders van The Box Company waren deskundig en zorgden voor een vlotte voortgang van de activiteit. Ze gaven duidelijke uitleg waar nodig, maar lieten ons ook voldoende ruimte om zelfstandig en creatief te werken. Het resultaat was een geweldige balans tussen uitdaging en plezier, waardoor iedereen enthousiast meedeed en zijn of haar beste beentje voorstelde.
Kortom, de online escaperoom was een zeer geslaagde teambuildingactiviteit die niet alleen plezier bood, maar ook de samenwerking en communicatie binnen ons team verbeterde. Wij kunnen The Box Company dan ook van harte aanbevelen aan andere scholen of organisaties die op zoek zijn naar een leuke en effectieve manier om teamdynamiek te versterken.

We did the Connect & Collab activity with the entire company during a workshop day at our office. The game was well put together, fun puzzles and you really have to think hard. You get a bit of an escape room-like experience and it was fun to work together with your colleagues in a different way than you are used to. The whole thing was very neatly taken care of by The Box Company, definitely recommended if you like this kind of activities.
