UNIQUE IN THE NETHERLANDS AND BELGIUM: two professional acts at your party!
My name is René van Hooren.
I have been working with great passion and pleasure as a caricaturist and magician throughout the Netherlands and Belgium for more than 25 years.
- As a caricaturist, I draw about 15 caricatures of your guests per hour! That's a caricature every 4 minutes! Much to the amusement of onlookers. Super fun drawings with a wink. Your guests always take home a fun and tangible souvenir.
- I'm also a humorous (table) magician; professional tricks for young and old, using coins, playing cards, mentalism, and hypnosis.
So, not a standard performance, but a special and varied act for your party! A unique combination of magic and caricature drawing.
With my mobile drawing stand, I move among your guests and make caricatures of anyone who wants one.
Alone or with your partner, on a sheet of paper. If you'd like, I can draw a hobby or interest in the cartoon.
Also hilarious for bystanders to watch.
I draw the caricatures with marker and chalk in black and white. Standard size is A5, but A4 is also available.
Your logo or text can be printed on the paper, if desired. I'll include the drawings in an envelope.
Isn't that a nice gift and souvenir of your party?
I also perform dozens of powerful magic tricks for young and old, using coins, cards, and everyday objects.
I'm looking for interaction with the audience. I'm at the table, but I can also just walk around.
If there is interest, hypnosis is one of my specialties.
Coming to your party soon?
Please feel free to call or email us and inquire about the possibilities and prices without any obligation. I'd appreciate it!
With festive greetings
René van Hooren, 'the magic caricaturist'

Successful magic entertainment and cool caricatures of our guests
René was an extremely valuable entertainer at a party we hosted last weekend. First, he entertained groups of guests with magic tricks, and then he proceeded to sketch the caricatures. What I found beautiful to see was how he put everyone being drawn at ease. That is an art in itself.
All in all, the guests were very enthusiastic about René afterwards, and so was I!

Opening Black Square
We booked René for the opening of the Zwarte Plein, and it was a great success! The visitors' reactions were all positive. Because of this success, we immediately booked him for a subsequent event as well.😀

Magician / Caricature Artist
Last Saturday, René performed his magic tricks at the ANV Groen Boxmeer party. They were sublime. People are still wondering how he managed it.
The caricature drawings were also a great success. In the beginning, almost no one dared, but later everyone wanted to be drawn. A big thumbs up to René.

Fantastic !
We invited René for our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a fantastic afternoon and evening with him, featuring surprising magic tricks and beautiful drawings. He arrives on time, good arrangements can be made after proper consultation, and he creates a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. In short: a delightful entertainer! As far as we are concerned: if you invite René, you won't regret it for a single second.

Cartoonist and table magician: twice the fun!
René drew fun caricatures of our guests at a corporate event. Everyone was enthusiastic!
Additionally, it is a nice bonus that he can also provide interactive entertainment as a table magician.

What a party!
René attended my father's 80th birthday, and what a party he made! He was incredibly friendly and professional, and made sure everyone who wanted it had a turn in a fun way; we didn't have to worry about it at all. His caricatures weren't exaggerated, but rather friendly and relatable, which made everyone happy. He also effortlessly adapted to the atmosphere and surroundings. We received enthusiastic feedback from many guests; it was a truly valuable addition to the party.
In short: highly recommended!
