My name is René van Hooren.
With great passion and pleasure I have been working as a caricaturist & magician throughout the Netherlands and Belgium for more than 25 years.
- As a caricaturist draw about 15 caricatures per hour of your guests! That's a caricature every 4 minutes! Much to the amusement of bystanders. Super cute drawings with a wink. Your guests will always take home a nice and tangible memento.
- I am also a humorous (table) magician; professional tricks for young and old, including coins, playing cards, mentalism and hypnosis.
Not a standard performance, but a special and varied act at your party! A unique combination of magic and caricature drawing.
With my mobile drawing stand I move between your guests and make caricatures of anyone who wants to.
Alone or with your partner on a sheet of paper. If desired, I draw a hobby or hobby with the cartoon.
Also hilarious for bystanders to watch.
I draw the caricatures with marker and chalk in black and white. Standard on A4 format, also available on A3.
Optionally with your logo or text printed on the paper. I give the drawings rolled up with a rubber band.

In addition, I show dozens of very strong magic tricks for young & old; with coins, cards and everyday objects.
In doing so, I seek interaction with the audience. At the table, but I can also just walk around.

Teacher's Day
On teacher's day, René came to draw students to put them in the spotlight. The students enjoyed this event and laughed at the results. We hope to see you again soon!
Days of the Contact Center Employee
Last week we had the company of René on our work floors for 2 days. He has drawn many caricatures and made the employees laugh with his magic skills and accompanying jokes. Everyone had a great time and people are still talking about how fun and funny it was. The caricatures that were made at a fast pace were really nice, funny and recognizable. Thank you René, you are a very sympathetic, calm, funny man with many talents. We certainly hope to see you again at a next event.

Successful performance at our family day
Rene gave a very successful 2 hour magic and caricature drawing performance during our family day. Fun for adults and children. Had a lot of fun. He had an excellent sense of the needs for our group. Arrived well on time with all belongings. Recommended!
Rene is a winner
A pleasant company drink became even more enjoyable with the arts that René showed us on this evening. Surprise on everyone's face when a magic trick was done to the giggles of colleagues when seeing the caricature portraits.

During our company party with 65 people, René involved everyone in his magic skills. René delighted us with a lot of energy and enthusiasm and was very pleasantly surprised. René then made a caricature of every present and in this way created beautiful memories!

staff party
We were able to book Rene at the last minute to provide entertainment for a lunch / dinner with employees, partners and children. This was very successful! By doing a few magic tricks at the tables, the ice was broken and people easily took a seat in the chair for a caricature picture. For dessert, two more people under hypnosis with very nice reactions. Rene did a great job and everyone from children to the elderly thought it was very successful. It is therefore recommended to decorate your event!

Very nice !
There was a lot of laughter and astonishment at René's tricks. And there was a queue for the caricatures. Everyone went home happy. Definitely recommended to give a party something extra! And you don't have to choose because René draws and juggles .....

The icing on the cake!
At our wedding we really enjoyed the high-quality offer of the magical caricaturist. He knows how to provide wonderful entertainment in a very humorous and unobtrusive way. He thinks along well about the content of the evening (if desired) and is well able to adapt to a mixed group. He was able to switch between magic and drawing at the right time and was able to provide a large group with a smile and a high-quality caricature (a nice extra memory!). What we also appreciated is the fact that he knew exactly when to distance himself (for example, with pieces) and when to make some extra effort. Certainly no regrets about choosing him. Recommended!

Laughed a lot
As a company outing, we did a workshop caricature-draw-your-colleague. We laughed a lot and ended up with nice (and ugly) drawings. In combination with magic and hypnosis tests, it was a workshop that is definitely recommended!

New Year party
During our New Year's party, René entertained us with his magic tricks and made a funny caricature of many guests. We had a good laugh at his magic tricks that happen right under your nose but can't be explained. Heard from various guests that René did a great job!

Tijdens ons nieuwjaarsfeest heeft René ons vermaakt met zijn goocheltrucs en heeft hij van veel gasten een grappige karikatuur gemaakt. We hebben erg gelachen om zijn goocheltrucs die recht onder je neus gebeuren, maar niet te verklaren zijn. Van diverse gasten gehoord dat René het superleuk heeft gedaan!
