My name is Rene Pouwelse. I am an event professional. That is to say: I support small and large companies in the organization of their event.
I also advise on creativity, operational implementation and budget. I produce the event or parts of it, for example technical production or content production. Furthermore I am an event director, specialized in online events. And finally I create video content in-house such as nominations for award shows, design for an event with leaders, bumpers, name titles (lower thirds), interviews, aftermovies and the like.
This really relieves the customer of work and adds value. I am independent, committed, creative and professional. I'm actually sitting next to the customer ... and not across from him.
I prefer to be involved as far in advance as possible to help with operational matters and budget. I can also advise well in this because I now have 35 years of experience as a producer / director of events and almost 10 years in audiovisual facilities and design.
In addition to being a consultant, producer and director, I am also a teacher at the post-graduate course Master in Event Management where I give lectures in the field of Event Techniques. Without too much jargon, clear tips and tools to make your event better.

Fast, reliable, professional!
For the launch of our new company, we needed a cool countdown video. Naturally, just a little too late, we asked our host Leon Vastenburg if he knew anyone. Tight and cool - everything and so much more you would expect from a director
At KonseptS we are always looking for cool and professional partnerships. Preferably long-term. We got to know René in 2024 as a Belgian company. We thought, let's bring in a Dutchman as a director for one of our biggest challenges ever. I already went to the first meeting with the idea: I hope he is effectively what we think of the Dutch, namely: nice and direct and straight to the point. Because that's what I like. No-nonsense communication. Being able to count on expertise and especially the hope that it would be fully deployed. I was also looking for someone creative, who understands the profession 150% and especially someone who can work together with others. The latter is not always easy because as a director you really have to give the calls that others may not always understand. You have to act strictly and fairly and keep the goal in mind. René is a dream of a guy to work with, especially in the preparations you notice that he makes an effort to understand your file. His scripts and scripts are clear, full of ideas and things to think about. He thinks through technical issues and he knows a lot about them. Because of his years of experience at audiovisual companies, you can't fool him. Handy. :) René also has humor, keeps calm on a production and he can work with so many different profiles. He adapts like a chameleon without being condescending even once. He provides a nice energy at the event and believe me, that's it! So we are very satisfied and soon we will have another production together. We are both looking forward to that. Highly recommended!
