Landesmusikakademie Hessen

Set within the historic Schloss Hallenburg estate in Schlitz, Landesmusikakademie Hessen offers an atmospheric setting for concerts, cultural programmes, rehearsals, seminars, workshops and selected private celebrations. Its rooms combine heritage character with practical event facilities, making the venue suitable for organisers looking for something more distinctive than a standard conference centre.

The central concert hall measures approximately 395 m² and includes a variable stage, concert grand piano, lighting and sound technology. It is supported by a 107 m² foyer with a bar area, while the 170 m² Rosy Geiger-Kullmann Saal provides an additional option for performances, receptions, workshops or supporting programme elements. Across Schloss Hallenburg, the academy also provides a range of smaller rooms, rehearsal spaces and representative rooms, including the Gartensaal and the Chinese Wallpaper Room.

For meetings and residential group programmes, organisers can combine the venue spaces with on-site accommodation. The two guest houses offer around 140 beds across single, double, multiple and combination rooms, with bathrooms, bed linen and towels included. The academy can also provide buffet-style meals through its on-site refectory, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and cake options, as well as vegetarian and vegan choices.

The landscaped grounds and historic surroundings create an appealing backdrop for receptions, free wedding ceremonies, civil ceremonies and intimate celebrations.
