Vanderveen Farm

Set among the farmland of Skagit Valley, Vanderveen Farm offers a historic barn setting for weddings and other private gatherings in Mount Vernon, Washington. The venue has been adapted from a former dairy farm, with spaces that let couples hold their ceremony and reception in one place. Several ceremony locations are available, including the old hay loft, while the reception area is housed in the barn’s former agricultural space. The venue is also suited to celebrations of life, holiday parties and other events arranged with the team.

The reception space can accommodate up to 200 guests throughout the year, with capacity for as many as 250 during summer events. Couples can make use of a covered outdoor patio, a deck overlooking the farmland and Mount Baker, and indoor heating for cooler-season bookings. The venue supplies tables and chairs, a built-in bar with kegerators and refrigerators, kitchen preparation space, and access to kitchen equipment. A collection of wedding décor, furniture, wine barrels and ceremony arbour options is also available for clients to use.

Facilities include separate bridal and groom rooms, accessible toilets, parking for up to 220 guests and a lift for guests who need help reaching the upstairs ceremony area. A venue host is on site during the event to assist with venue-related needs. Bookings include a long event-day hire period and rehearsal access, with arrangements agreed directly with the venue. Organisers may choose their own event professionals, subject to the venue’s stated requirements. A post-event care option is available for clients who would rather have the team handle the venue reset after the celebration.
