The Whitefire Theatre

The Whitefire Theatre is an intimate performance venue in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, offering space for independent theatrical productions and related creative work. Organisers can enquire about renting the theatre for stage productions and rehearsals, while performers and producers can also find a home for workshops and casting sessions. Its focus is on live theatre, making it a suitable setting for plays, solo performances and other stage-based projects that benefit from a close connection between performers and audience.

The main theatre has a stated capacity of 90 seats. For productions, the venue can provide technical and front-of-house support, including performance technicians and house staff, along with lighting, audio playback and digital projection facilities. Additional production options may be available by arrangement, and rental pricing and availability are supplied on enquiry. Producers should discuss their technical needs and intended use with the theatre in advance, as the space is principally intended for theatrical performances and rehearsals, and other uses require prior approval.

The Whitefire also presents its own live programme and has a long-standing connection to independent theatre in the San Fernando Valley. The venue’s accessible seating and availability of some listening devices can help organisers plan for audience access. Located on Ventura Boulevard, it offers a dedicated theatre environment for artists and producers seeking a compact, professionally supported space for developing or presenting live work.
