Ruba Club

Ruba Club is a two-floor event venue in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties, offering organisers a choice of spaces for private celebrations, performances and creative events. You can book the cabaret-style bar, the upstairs ballroom theatre, or both floors together. The venue welcomes a wide range of occasions, including weddings, parties, concerts, burlesque and cabaret shows, art showcases, screenings, readings and video shoots.

The two spaces have distinct characters. The downstairs room combines a speakeasy feel with a bar and space for socialising, while the upstairs ballroom theatre has a stage and seating for performances or presentations. Organisers can discuss different room layouts and event requirements with the booking team. The venue lists a full theatrical stage, sound system, bar service and food and catering options, with seating for up to 200 guests.

Ruba Club’s flexible approach makes it suitable for events that need more personality than a conventional meeting room. It can host a lively reception, a wedding gathering, a show or an intimate community event, with the choice to use one room or the full venue. Regular music and arts programming is also part of the club’s identity, but private hire is available to organisers planning their own occasion. Prospective bookers can share their event type, estimated attendance and preferred dates through the venue’s enquiry form, and the events coordinator follows up about the booking.
