Theater des Friedens

Doberaner Straße 5, 18057 Rostock, Germany

The Theater des Friedens (Theatre of Peace) is a versatile event and party venue in the heart of Rostock. This historic building, which opened as a cinema in 1914, now serves as a club and event space available for hire. Its combination of stage and club atmosphere provides the perfect setting for celebrations and events that demand a great ambiance, music, and ample space.

Event organizers can request the venue for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, company parties, and Christmas celebrations. Concerts, readings, workshops, conferences, and meetings are also possible. Depending on the occasion, seating arrangement, and event format, celebrations with up to 1,000 guests can be accommodated. For meetings and conferences, the venue offers formats for up to 300 people. The rooms can be designed and decorated to suit the occasion.

The facilities include lighting and sound equipment. The team supports event organizers with planning and execution and helps coordinate technical requirements. Catering can be arranged through external providers or the in-house service can be used. Upon request, the venue can also connect organizers with suitable partners, for example, for musical entertainment. The scope and services are tailored to the organizers' specific needs.

The venue combines its historical setting with its use as a modern club and event space. It is particularly well-suited for celebrations and events with music, stage performances, or dancing, but also provides a setting for business meetings and conferences. Inquiries including the occasion, date, number of guests, and desired schedule can be directed to the event team.
