The Venues on Broad

The Venues on Broad offers two characterful event spaces in Athens, Georgia: The Venue on Broad and The Veranda. Organisers can hire either location on its own or consider the spaces together, choosing between an indoor ballroom setting and a more relaxed venue with a veranda and courtyard. Both spaces suit weddings and receptions, while other occasions include rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events, holiday parties, school dances, Greek life formals and social gatherings.

The Venue on Broad combines a ballroom with a bar area, patio and outdoor seating. Its features include chandeliers, adjustable coloured lighting, an integrated sound system with a DJ connection, tables and chairs, and on-site parking. A bridal suite is available as an additional option, and staff support setup and breakdown during the event. The layout can accommodate ceremonies and receptions, with different areas providing room for dining, mingling and dancing.

The Veranda offers indoor dining and bar space alongside an outdoor courtyard and covered veranda, with string lighting and a more informal Southern-inspired feel. Its flexible layout can be arranged for seated meals or cocktail-style events, and the venue describes it as suitable for weddings, corporate functions and celebrations. Bar service and linen options are available as add-ons.

Located close to downtown Athens, these venues give event planners a choice of settings and layouts for occasions of different styles. Enquiries can be made to check availability, arrange a tour and discuss the spaces and options for a planned event.
