Cakewalk Chapel & Event Space Liberty

Cakewalk Chapel & Event Space Liberty is an intimate venue in historic downtown Liberty, Missouri, for organisers planning weddings and other small gatherings. The light-filled space combines tall arched windows and art deco details with warm candlelight, greenery and comfortable lounge seating. Its adjoining areas allow hosts to arrange a ceremony and reception in one location, with room for up to around 70 guests depending on the event layout.

The venue is available for hourly and longer rentals, giving organisers options for celebrations, showers, meetings and other occasions. Tables and chairs can be arranged to suit the event, and the venue team handles set-up and clean-up as part of the rental. Facilities include a kitchenette, a bar, a drinks cooler and a sound system for connecting a personal playlist. Organisers can bring their own vendors, or choose from the venue's curated wedding and party packages.

For couples, package choices range from brief ceremony options to longer receptions, with coordination and selected event services available for a simpler planning process. The venue also offers a planning portal and access to its team for questions and practical guidance. Its central Liberty location is close to the historic square, with nearby street parking. Whether arranging an elopement, a small wedding reception, a shower, a birthday gathering or a meeting, planners can book the space alone or select a package suited to their plans.
