Know Theatre of Cincinnati

Know Theatre of Cincinnati offers event organisers a distinctive theatre setting in the Over-the-Rhine neighbourhood of Cincinnati. Its venue is available for private and corporate bookings, from informal gatherings to events that need a stage and theatre equipment.

The Underground lobby and bar is a flexible option for happy-hour meetings, corporate functions, readings, casual get-togethers, parties and smaller staged events. It includes a cabaret stage, giving organisers a performance feature within a more relaxed, social space. For events needing a larger room or a more theatrical production setup, the MainStage black box theatre can also be hired. The theatre’s own productions use sound and lighting systems, and the venue’s main site describes these as part of its event facilities.

The two-floor layout gives planners a choice between an intimate reception-style setting and a dedicated performance space. The venue can suit a range of event formats, including presentations, readings, small ceremonies and multi-day or single-day private functions. Organisers can enquire directly about bringing an event to the theatre and discuss which space best fits their plans.

Know Theatre is also the producer of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, but the theatre itself is the bookable venue for organisers. Located at 1120 Jackson Street, it provides a central Cincinnati setting for events seeking a creative atmosphere and an intimate stage environment.
