Capitol City Barn

Capitol City Barn is a family-run venue in Olympia, Washington, set on a ten-acre property among trees and gardens. Its 4,600-square-foot barn provides an indoor setting, while outdoor areas offer room for ceremonies, photographs, drinks and guests to mingle. Hosts can plan an indoor or outdoor celebration, with an indoor option available if the weather changes.

Weddings are a central part of the venue's offering, with spaces for ceremonies and receptions, a bridal suite and a separate area for the other wedding party to get ready. The barn can accommodate up to 100 guests indoors, and the grounds provide additional outdoor space for larger gatherings. Couples can choose from full-day wedding, micro-wedding and elopement options, with pricing and availability depending on the date and package.

The venue also welcomes private and business events, including birthday parties, baby showers, family and school reunions, graduation celebrations, corporate parties and photo shoots. Rental typically includes exclusive use for the event, tables and chairs, an on-site attendant, access to a warming kitchen for caterers, and selected decor. The team handles table and chair set-up, and hosts may bring their own licensed and insured vendors or use the venue's recommended supplier list. Optional clean-up service and additional hire items can also be discussed. Organisers can enquire about a date, guest numbers and budget, and arrange a tour by appointment.
