The Stiwt Theatre

The Stiwt Theatre is a historic arts venue in Rhosllanerchrugog, near Wrexham, offering organisers a choice of spaces for performances, meetings, rehearsals and other events. Its Art Deco auditorium has a proscenium arch and flexible stage apron, with seating configurations for different productions. In-house facilities include lighting and sound equipment, a projector and projection room, a piano and a scene dock, making the theatre suitable for a range of live events and presentations.

For smaller gatherings and functions, organisers can enquire about three additional spaces. The Glanrafon room is on the ground floor and includes kitchen facilities, a television, projection screen and piano. The Llanerch room offers similar amenities on the first floor, with lift access. The Hafod Bar, next to the auditorium, can also be hired and has bar service, a television with laptop connectivity and a piano. These spaces are offered for occasions such as rehearsals, community groups, classes and other events, with room hire arranged directly with the theatre team.

The venue combines event facilities with an active programme of theatre, music, comedy, films and cultural performances. Organisers can therefore consider the Stiwt for a performance-led gathering as well as for a room-based event. There is a car park on site, and accessible entrances and facilities are available, although some areas, including the balcony, have access limitations. Located on Broad Street, the theatre serves organisers and audiences from Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham and the wider North Wales area.
