Gemeinschaftshaus Dittershausen is a municipal event venue in the Dittershausen district of Schwalmstadt. The rooms can be booked for private celebrations, club events and selected business occasions. These include, for example, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, confirmations, funeral receptions and company celebrations. Club events are also possible, although fees may apply for certain events and use is subject to approval by the city.

Event organisers can request their preferred date through the online reservation service. A fee must initially be paid when making a reservation. The relevant department will then get in touch to agree the remaining booking arrangements. A date reservation is therefore the first step, and use of the venue is only confirmed once approved by the city. A telephone contact is also available for questions about availability and hiring the venue.

The terms of use allow the venue to be hired for individual days or for a limited period in the afternoon. The hire fee includes use of the available furnishings, as well as energy and water costs. Event organisers should bear in mind when planning that preparations, tidying up and cleaning must be completed within the agreed hire period. Users are also responsible for disposing of waste. Any additional equipment or furniture must be agreed with the city in advance.

In a quiet village setting, the venue offers a practical space for gatherings in a small, communal environment. It is suitable for hosts and clubs looking for a place in Dittershausen for a special occasion or event, and who wish to discuss the arrangements directly with the city of Schwalmstadt.
