The Preserve at Maple Creek

Set among 66 wooded acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Preserve at Maple Creek offers a historic countryside setting for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats and smaller gatherings. Its buildings and outdoor spaces give event planners several ways to shape a day, from a chapel ceremony to a relaxed gathering on the grounds.

The Glass Chapel is suited to intimate ceremonies and gatherings of up to 85 guests. There is also a small open-air chapel, while the wider grounds can accommodate tents for larger groups. The 19th-century farmhouse has an event room, lounge and private meeting room, making it useful for lectures, group meetings and family occasions. A kitchen preparation area is available for caterers, although cooking is not permitted there.

Four furnished holiday rentals provide on-site accommodation: the Duncan-Logan Frontier Cabin, Red Roof Cabin, Barn Cabin and Farmhouse Guest Quarters. The cabins and guest quarters include living space and kitchen facilities, and reservations are available for stays of at least two nights. Depending on the event and group requirements, organisers can enquire about hiring selected locations or making broader use of the property.

Guests can also explore walking and hiking trails, a pond, a labyrinth and other features across the estate.
