The Woodward Theater

The Woodward Theater is a historic event venue in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighbourhood, available for weddings, private celebrations, receptions and other gatherings. Originally opened as a silent-film theatre in 1913, the restored building offers organisers a characterful setting with a stage, a balcony and an open event floor.

Couples can hold a ceremony, reception or both at the venue. The space can be arranged for seated dinners, ceremonies or cocktail-style celebrations, and the team can discuss layouts to suit each occasion. Wedding rentals include tables, chairs, linens, bar glassware and sound production with an engineer. Organisers can also arrange catering through preferred suppliers or bring a licensed caterer of their choice. Bar packages and a production manager are available as part of the wedding offering.

The theatre also hosts private parties such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagement celebrations, graduations and holiday gatherings. Event arrangements are tailored to the occasion, with options for different seating and table layouts, speeches or live entertainment, video presentations, and private or public guest lists. The venue offers professional AV equipment, a full bar and staffed event support. Digital ticketing and box office services may be available for suitable events.

With its central location, historic interiors and established live-music setting, The Woodward Theater gives event planners a distinctive space for both social occasions and public-facing programmes. Its team works with organisers to shape the room and practical details around the event they have in mind.
