Waldbühne Schwarzenberg
- Am Rockelmann, 08340 Schwarzenberg, Germany
Waldbühne Schwarzenberg is a large open-air stage in Rockelmannpark, offering organisers a special setting for concerts and other cultural events. The historic amphitheatre was built from granite and stands on elevated ground above the town. Its open design, natural surroundings and views of Schwarzenberg and the Ore Mountains shape the character of the venue.
The town makes Waldbühne Schwarzenberg available to commercial organisers for suitable events. These are primarily intended to be concert-style events that enrich the region's cultural and tourism offering. Use is classed as a special use and is usually limited to the months of May to September. The town's applicable admission and usage conditions are decisive for planning. According to the information for organisers, events may be approved for up to around 12,000 guests.
The venue is particularly suitable for open-air concerts, music productions and larger cultural events where an impressive natural backdrop and plenty of space for the audience are required. Well-known artists and bands have performed here in recent years. Organisers can find information on the town's website about the venue, technical requirements, the admission procedure and the necessary documents. Waldbühne Schwarzenberg is therefore of particular interest to professional organisers looking for a large open-air stage in the Ore Mountains and prepared to meet the specific organisational requirements of a seasonal open-air production.
