Belcombe Court

Belcombe Court is a historic country house and estate in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, available for weddings and private celebrations. Set within extensive parkland and landscaped gardens, it offers event planners a choice of settings for different parts of the day, from a ceremony surrounded by greenery to a reception or evening party in a converted barn.

The estate is licensed for civil ceremonies, with options that include the barn, the garden rotunda and the summer house. The barn, a former church building with stone floors and a vaulted ceiling, can host ceremonies and celebrations. Its large doors open onto the grounds, creating a connection between the indoor space and the gardens. The grounds also provide a range of outdoor backdrops, including a walled garden, woodland paths, a pond and terraces overlooking the surrounding valley.

Belcombe takes a bespoke approach to events, so organisers can discuss the occasion and its requirements directly with the venue team. The house and estate are offered for exclusive weddings, giving couples and their planners scope to shape the celebration around the spaces and grounds. Nearby Bradford-on-Avon churches are within walking distance for couples planning a church service followed by a reception at the estate.

The venue's gardens and seasonal flowers contribute to the setting throughout the year. In-house gardeners care for the estate and create floral displays, with flowers grown in the walled and cutting gardens. Organisers can contact the team to discuss availability, pricing and how the house, barn and grounds might suit their plans.
