The Bauer Event Space

The Bauer offers event planners a distinctive venue in Kansas City's Crossroads Arts District. Set inside a historic warehouse, the space pairs original architectural character with modern facilities for weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations.

The main event room covers 2,920 square feet and can accommodate up to 220 guests for a seated occasion or 250 for a cocktail-style gathering. A separate 1,000-square-foot Parlour can be booked for smaller ceremonies, drinks receptions or as an additional space alongside the main room. High ceilings, large windows and views across the city give the upper-floor venue a strong sense of place, with natural light during the day and city lights after dark.

The venue provides tables and chairs, installed sound systems, microphones and a projection screen. A fully equipped catering kitchen is available to support outside caterers, and organisers can select from the venue's bar packages or discuss signature drinks. The open catering policy gives private-event hosts the option to bring in a caterer of their choice. Wedding parties can also use dedicated preparation rooms, while event staff and coordinators are available to assist with planning and on-site arrangements.

Practical details include a freight elevator for suppliers, accessible facilities and private parking at selected times, with additional street parking nearby. The Bauer is suited to planners seeking a characterful, flexible setting for a wedding, reception, company celebration or other hosted event in central Kansas City. Tours are available by appointment.
