Stein-Boozier Barn

Set within Murase Plaza in Wilsonville, Stein-Boozier Barn offers a characterful setting for weddings, receptions and other private celebrations. The historic barn dates to around 1901 and has a main gathering area of approximately 1,325 square feet, with space for up to 96 guests. Its traditional timber surroundings and position beside Boeckman Creek give organisers a distinctive backdrop for a relaxed gathering.

The rental includes tables and chairs, so planners have useful essentials in place when arranging the room. Inside, guests can make use of a commercial refrigerator, a bar with a sink, electrical outlets and decorative string lighting. Large sliding doors open towards the outdoors, connecting the interior with a paved patio and landscaped surroundings. Terraced basalt seating in front of the barn provides an additional place for guests to gather, while the creek and nearby parkland add to the setting.

The venue is available for private hire from mid-April to mid-October. Applications can be submitted throughout the year, and weekend bookings include time around the event for set-up and clear-up. The city provides rental information and application materials to help organisers plan their booking. Restrooms are not inside the barn, but are a short walk away, and the building is not heated, points to consider when choosing a date and planning guest comfort.

Suitable for couples and organisers seeking a smaller, rustic venue, the barn can host a celebration in a park setting while remaining within reach of Wilsonville's local facilities. Organisers can contact the Parks and Recreation team to check dates, arrange a weekday tour and discuss the rental process.
