The Theater at City Tech

The Theater at City Tech is a bookable performance and event venue in Downtown Brooklyn, offering organisers a choice of spaces for productions, corporate functions and educational programmes. Its principal space is a tiered auditorium with a stage, suitable for concerts, dance, theatre, film screenings, speeches and other audience-focused events. The venue also welcomes conferences, seminars and corporate gatherings.

The auditorium is supported by professional production facilities, including stage lighting, audio equipment, a digital mixing console, wireless microphones, projection and screen equipment, intercom systems, and video and streaming capabilities. A green room and backstage dressing facilities are available for performers and production teams. These technical resources make the space relevant to organisers planning both live performances and presentations.

Additional areas around the theatre can support guest arrival, registration, networking and breakout sessions. The venue includes a lobby and a second-floor lounge, with furniture and tables available in the lounge. Separate breakout rooms and a flexible meeting space provide options for smaller sessions alongside a larger programme. Organisers can enquire about combining spaces to suit the format and scale of their event.

Located on Jay Street near the Brooklyn Bridge, the venue is accessible by several New York City subway lines and local buses. External organisations can contact City Tech's Event Management team to discuss availability and arrange a site visit. Whether planning a performance, symposium, conference or corporate function, event planners can consider the theatre and its supporting spaces as an adaptable Downtown Brooklyn setting.
