Norwich Arts Centre

Norwich Arts Centre is a live performance venue in a Grade I listed former church in the city centre. Alongside its programme of music, theatre, comedy and other arts, the venue is available to hire for weddings, civil ceremonies, private parties, conferences and symposiums. Its historic architecture offers a distinctive setting for organisers looking for a space with character and a strong connection to Norwich's cultural life.

The main auditorium can be hired alongside the foyer, bar and dressing room, with access to the garden for part of the day. Wedding bookings can include exclusive use of these areas, and the venue is licensed for legal ceremonies. Depending on the layout and event, it can accommodate weddings for around 50 to 220 guests. The venue also welcomes enquiries about other private and corporate functions.

Organisers have access to an in-house bar and staff, a duty manager, security and technical support. The auditorium has sound and lighting equipment, and the team can discuss room arrangements, staging and practical requirements before an event. Caterers may use the venue's kitchen, subject to its conditions, and organisers can bring in their own catering providers. Tables and chairs are available in limited quantities, while additional items and decoration can be arranged separately.

Set among the independent businesses of Norwich's Lanes, Norwich Arts Centre offers a central location for gatherings that need more than a conventional function room. Contact the venue team to discuss availability, event requirements and a visit.
