Nazareth University Arts Center

Nazareth University Arts Center is a performing arts complex in Rochester, New York, with several theatre and music spaces that may be available to rent for external events. Its venues suit organisers looking for a purpose-built setting for performances, talks, lectures, film screenings and conference presentations.

The largest space, Callahan Theater, seats up to 1,000 and includes a sprung stage, projection facilities and theatre rigging. For music-led programmes, Beston Hall in the adjacent Glazer Music Performance Center accommodates 550 guests and is designed for strong ensemble acoustics. Smaller options include the Masters Family Community Theater, Peace Theater and Wilmot Recital Hall, with seating capacities ranging from 186 to 198. The Peace Theater has a presentation podium and projection capability, making it a practical choice for lectures and screenings.

The complex also contains art galleries, adding an exhibition element to its cultural programme. External rental availability is currently very limited, and most spaces are committed to university use during the academic year, so organisers should enquire early and confirm dates directly. Rental charges vary by room, with additional fees possible for staffing and equipment. Callahan Theater and Beston Hall require Arts Center staff during use. Food and drink arrangements must normally go through the university's catering service, while box office support for ticketed rental events may be possible by arrangement. Free parking is available on campus. With a range of auditorium sizes and performance-focused facilities, the Arts Center can be considered for suitable public, educational and cultural events in the Rochester area.
