Winter Street Center

Winter Street Center is a historic event venue in Bath, Maine, operated by Sagadahoc Preservation. The former church building dates from 1843 and offers event organisers a characterful setting for gatherings in the city. Its current rentable space is the Diane Francis Meeting Hall, the former parish hall, which hosts weddings, meetings, concerts, book fairs and other special events.

The centre may suit organisers looking for a distinctive alternative to a standard function room, whether they are planning a private celebration, a community gathering or a cultural programme. The historic architecture gives the venue a strong sense of place, while its role as a community space means it is used for a range of occasions rather than only one type of event. A room rental deposit can be arranged through the operator's online shop, and enquiries about hiring the hall can be made directly to Sagadahoc Preservation.

The main sanctuary is undergoing restoration and is not described as the current rental space. The organisation is also working on improvements to the building, including accessibility and other planned upgrades, so event planners should confirm which facilities and arrangements are available for their preferred date. The venue is a useful option for organisers seeking a historic Bath location for a wedding, meeting, performance or private event, with the Diane Francis Meeting Hall serving as its present event space.
