Ynys Arms

Ynys Arms is a private-hire venue in Pontardawe, near Swansea, offering organisers an exclusive setting for weddings, family celebrations and group gatherings. The former pub has been adapted for private use, retaining a rustic character while providing guests with indoor spaces and a large garden overlooking open fields.

The venue is licensed for weddings and is suited to couples looking for a place where their guests can gather and stay together. It also welcomes bookings for birthdays, anniversaries, hen and stag parties, reunions, business meetings, coaching seminars and filming. The whole property is hired privately, giving each group use of the venue rather than sharing it with regular pub customers.

Accommodation is arranged across eight bedrooms and can sleep up to 26 people. Facilities include a dining area, lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, along with an undercover outdoor patio, garden, barbecue area and children’s play space. Wi-Fi and free parking are available, and the property also provides bicycle storage and pet kennels. The venue is self-catering, with organisers able to discuss arrangements directly with the team, particularly for larger celebrations and weddings.

With indoor and outdoor areas, overnight accommodation and exclusive use of the property, Ynys Arms offers a practical base for a multi-day celebration or a private group event. Event planners can enquire about availability and suitability for their group, including wedding bookings and events that require more capacity than a standard accommodation reservation.
