Route 22 Hatchet House

Route 22 Hatchet House is an indoor axe-throwing venue in Aberdeen, Maryland, where groups can book a lively activity for celebrations, company outings and get-togethers. Guests can try projected targets and interactive games, with staff on hand to explain how to throw and guide participants through the safety rules. No previous axe-throwing experience is needed.

The venue welcomes groups celebrating birthdays, graduations, reunions, retirements and holidays, as well as bachelor and bachelorette parties. Businesses and organisations can arrange team-building sessions, giving colleagues a chance to compete and spend time together away from the workplace. Private parties for groups of ten or more may be arranged during hours when the venue is not open to the public, subject to availability. Organisers can also enquire about larger gatherings and corporate events.

A standard session is designed to make it easy for newcomers to take part, and lanes accommodate up to six throwers. The venue has tables and space for groups to gather, with food available on site. Guests should wear closed-toe shoes, and groups can contact the team to discuss event arrangements or request a booking.

Situated on Churchville Road, Route 22 Hatchet House serves Aberdeen and communities across Harford County, including Bel Air, Churchville and Fallston. Its combination of guided axe throwing, group-friendly space and bookable sessions offers event planners a distinctive activity for social celebrations and team events.
