GMP Königsee offers rides in tracked and wheeled armoured vehicles, as well as historic military trucks, at its off-road site in Thuringia. Depending on the vehicle, guests can take the wheel themselves or ride as a passenger around the site. Before setting off, an experienced team gives a briefing so participants can familiarise themselves with the vehicle and how everything works. Anyone who would rather watch or find out more about the vehicles can arrange a guided tour of the site and the small exhibition.

The offer is also suited to event planners looking for an unusual group experience. GMP Königsee makes its site available for corporate events and family celebrations, and can organise a suitable programme with catering. Stag parties and gatherings of off-road or military vehicle enthusiasts can also be planned here. Groups can also hire the track to drive their own off-road vehicles.

The site covers several hectares of woodland and meadows. Depending on the activity chosen, vehicles include a BMP tracked armoured vehicle, an SPW-40 wheeled armoured vehicle and various military lorries. Rides take place by prior appointment, usually at weekends. This allows event planners to combine the visit with their own group programme and agree the preferred activity with the provider in advance. Spectators are also welcome, so not all guests have to drive themselves.
