Set on a working farm near Axminster, River Cottage offers a countryside setting for weddings, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. For weddings, couples can hold a ceremony in the garden or barn, then use the venue’s spaces for drinks, dining and the reception. The barn seats up to 70 guests, with adjoining deck space for a further 20 in summer. Larger celebrations can make use of space for a marquee, with capacity for up to 200 guests. Wedding hire includes exclusive use of key event areas and accommodation for up to 10 people in the Farmhouse and Gardener’s Cottage. An in-house coordinator is available to help with arrangements on the day.
