Falside Mill

Falside Mill is an exclusive-use countryside venue for weddings and celebrations, set in a restored stone steading near St Andrews and Crail in Fife. Its historic farm buildings bring character to the setting, while the connected indoor and outdoor spaces give couples room to shape a celebration around their plans.

The venue offers several distinct areas. The Mill Ring suits intimate ceremonies and gatherings of up to 50 guests, while the Ceremony Hall can host ceremonies for up to 200. The Main Hall is arranged for dining, dancing and evening celebrations, with a built-in stage and a bar at the heart of the room. A courtyard provides space for drinks receptions, photographs and time outdoors, and a nearby chill-out room gives guests a quieter place to take a break. The close arrangement of the spaces helps the day move naturally from one part of the celebration to the next.

Falside Mill provides support beyond the venue hire. Its team offers in-house catering, with menus tailored to the occasion, and a staffed bar with options including a mobile prosecco tuk-tuk. Tables, chairs and lounge furniture are available on site, and crockery, cutlery and glassware are included in catering and bar packages. Venue hire also includes lighting, heating, a PA system, a cordless microphone and an on-the-day events manager. Optional transport includes a shuttle bus, a converted campervan and a Range Rover.

For weddings spanning a weekend, 19 on-site chalets provide accommodation close to the venue. Each sleeps two, with sofa beds available, and dog-friendly options are offered. The accommodation has a minimum two-night stay, allowing guests to arrive before the celebration and stay nearby afterwards. Event planners and couples can arrange a viewing or request a brochure to discuss the spaces and available options.
