Mulberry Place

Mulberry Place is a historic estate venue in Milford, Virginia, offering a countryside setting for weddings and other celebrations. Dating to 1827, the property combines the character of an early Federal-style home with broad lawns, mature trees and views across meadows and woodland. Its grounds give event planners several distinct backdrops for a day’s programme, from an outdoor ceremony beneath the oaks to drinks and a reception on the terraced lawn.

The venue’s spaces include a rustic stable for smaller gatherings, rehearsal dinners or an alternative event setting, as well as an outdoor kitchen that can be used as a bar area or a place to serve refreshments. The estate also offers preparation space for a bridal party, parking with an attendant and an on-site venue manager. Couples and organisers can arrange a visit to explore the property and discuss how it might suit their plans.

Wedding packages are offered at different guest capacities, with options for gatherings of up to 50, 150 or 300 people. Packages include use of the property for engagement photographs, outdoor ceremony locations and access to the stable and outdoor kitchen. The venue also makes the grounds available for photography sessions by the hour. Mulberry Place is suited to organisers seeking a rural, historic setting for a wedding, anniversary or special gathering, with indoor and outdoor features that can be considered when shaping the event.
