St Peter's Hall

St Peter's Hall is a community venue in central Petersfield, offered by St Peter's Church for private and group bookings. Its flexible space has been used for parties, meetings, practices, rehearsals and other local events. The hall is around 100 metres from the Market Square, making it convenient for guests arriving from the town centre.

The main hall can seat approximately 100 people. Tables and chairs are available, and a piano makes the space suitable for rehearsals and musical activities as well as social gatherings. Hirers also have access to a fully equipped kitchen with crockery and cutlery, plus male and female cloakrooms, an accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities. Some on-street parking is available nearby, with additional pay-and-display car parks a short walk away.

Bookings are normally arranged through the parish office, which can advise on availability, rates and hire conditions. Block-booking discounts and reduced rates for charities have been offered. Bouncy castles and hazardous equipment are not permitted.

Please note that the hall is currently closed to bookings while a major refurbishment is under way. The church website says the work is expected to finish in late autumn 2026, but that bookings and booking details will be available once they recommence. Organisers should contact the parish office to ask about the current position and any limited facilities available in the church meeting room. The venue is therefore suited to planners seeking a practical community hall, although it is not presently accepting bookings for the main hall.
