Brown & Bye

Brown & Bye is a harbourside venue in Bristol available to hire for private celebrations and business events. Set beside the water opposite the SS Great Britain, it offers indoor and outdoor seating and a relaxed setting for gatherings of around 20-100 guests. Organisers can enquire about hiring one room, two adjoining rooms or the whole venue, depending on the event and guest numbers.

The space is suited to birthday parties, anniversaries, wedding receptions and engagements, as well as corporate celebrations, Christmas parties, meetings, training days, presentations, away-days and media events. Its waterfront location provides a distinctive backdrop, with nearby transport links and parking options. The venue is particularly suitable for social occasions where guests can mingle rather than follow a formal seated programme. It does not have a dance floor, and live music and DJs are not offered as part of its wedding hire.

Food and drink can be arranged for private bookings. Options include canapés, sourdough pizzas, deli boards, cakes and afternoon tea, with menus that can be tailored to the occasion and dietary requirements. The licensed bar serves wines, cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic drinks. Corporate packages can also include refreshments and lunch, while wedding receptions have food and drinks package choices.

Event organisers can contact the team through the venue hire enquiry form with their event type, date, guest numbers and budget. Brown & Bye can then discuss the most suitable space and arrangements. Its waterfront setting, flexible room options and food and bar service make it a practical choice for smaller gatherings and business functions in central Bristol.
