Red Room at Cafe 939

The Red Room at Cafe 939 is an intimate live music venue in Boston, available to hire for concerts, private receptions, parties, special events and meetings. With capacity for up to 200 people, it offers organisers a compact setting for performances and gatherings where guests can feel close to the stage.

The space has flexible set-up options, including seating arrangements that can be adapted to suit different occasions. Its technical features include professional sound and lighting equipment, video and DVD capabilities, and an in-house Yamaha baby grand piano. These facilities make the room suitable for live performances as well as presentations and other hosted events. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Event organisers can enquire about rental rates and availability through Berklee's booking and rental team. Catering may be arranged from the adjoining cafe or through Berklee's catering department, giving planners options for refreshments alongside their room hire. The venue is all ages and does not permit alcohol, details worth considering when planning the format of an event.

Set on Boylston Street in Boston's Back Bay, the Red Room is part of Berklee College of Music and is known for its music-focused environment. It works particularly well for organisers looking for a smaller performance venue with stage, sound and lighting facilities already in place. Whether the brief is a concert, a reception or a meeting, the room combines a central Boston location with practical production features and a flexible layout.
