Vorstadttheater Tübingen is a small independent theatre in the southern part of Tübingen that also rents out its rooms to event planners and private groups. The venue's distinctive atmosphere is well suited to smaller celebrations, creative gatherings and stage events that call for an intimate setting. The theatre lists children's parties, Christmas celebrations and theatre classes as possible occasions. Nurseries, associations and other groups can also make an enquiry.

The event space offers around 125 square metres and can accommodate up to 65 people. For events for which the venue is hired, it recommends groups of no more than 50 people. A stage measuring four by three metres, a puppet theatre stage, spotlights and a piano offer opportunities for performances, music, readings and classes. The exposed roof beams give the room its character, while a cosy bar with a fridge and crockery adds to guests' comfort. A lobby, two toilets and a dishwasher are also included. Step-free access is available via a side entrance.

The venue can be hired in morning, afternoon or evening time slots. Other times can be requested by arrangement. As the theatre's own programme needs to be taken into account, interested parties should agree their preferred date well in advance and state the occasion and group size when making an enquiry. Vorstadttheater also runs a regular cultural programme featuring puppet theatre, music, cabaret, readings and other stage events. For event planners, the combination of a manageable size, existing stage equipment and a theatre space that can be used flexibly is particularly appealing.
