The Mumm Barn

The Mumm Barn is a countryside venue in Clayton, Wisconsin, set on a working farm with open fields, woodland and rural scenery. Its restored 1950s barn provides more than 9,000 square feet of event space, with a characterful setting for weddings, receptions and other special occasions. The property is around an hour by car from Minneapolis and St Paul.

Organisers can choose from a weekend booking, a one-day package or an hourly option for selected celebrations. Depending on the package and layout, events can use the barn's upper and lower levels, with areas for ceremonies, dining and dancing. Couples may hold a ceremony outdoors or in the loft, and the grounds offer a range of backdrops for photographs. The venue also has bridal and groom suites, a bar area, a dance floor, fire pits, outdoor seating areas and parking, with attendants who can help guests travel between the parking area and barn by golf cart.

Packages include varying levels of set-up, room transitions and clean-up support, along with tables and chairs. On-site staff can include bartenders, an event coordinator, security and parking attendants. Organisers may select a licensed caterer of their choice, and the venue shares a list of local recommendations. Wedding and event bookings are offered from May through October. With flexible spaces and packages for both full wedding weekends and shorter gatherings, The Mumm Barn can suit couples and organisers planning weddings, graduations, anniversaries and other private celebrations.
