The Shed at Mwnt

The Shed at Mwnt is a family-run venue in the countryside near Cardigan, offering a converted barn for weddings and other celebrations. Set within rolling Welsh countryside, the venue looks out towards Mwnt beach, the white church at Mwnt and the Ceredigion coastline. Its rural setting and relaxed atmosphere make it a distinctive choice for couples looking for a celebration away from a town-centre venue.

The Shed is licensed to host ceremonies on site, so couples can arrange their ceremony and celebration at the same location. The owners and their close-knit team describe their approach as personal and welcoming, with support for couples and their guests throughout the day. The venue also welcomes other private and community occasions, including birthday parties and fundraising events.

For event planners, The Shed offers a characterful barn setting for gatherings where the location is part of the occasion. The venue has also hosted live music events, though organisers should enquire directly about availability and arrangements for their particular event. Its website includes a gallery to help prospective clients explore the setting and wedding style, alongside an enquiry form for contacting the team. The Shed at Mwnt is based in Mwnt, near Cardigan, in Ceredigion, and offers an appealing countryside option for wedding celebrations and selected events in West Wales.
