Michigan Wildlife Conservancy

Michigan Wildlife Conservancy makes the Bengel Wildlife Center available to event planners seeking a venue in a natural setting near Bath, Michigan. Set within 259 acres of woods, wetlands, gardens and trails, the grounds offer a distinctive backdrop for weddings, corporate gatherings, celebrations, meetings and retreats.

The venue combines indoor rooms with outdoor spaces overlooking Priggooris Lake. Couples can choose from several ceremony locations, including garden settings and gazebos, with an indoor option available if the weather changes. The wedding facilities accommodate up to 240 guests and include a glass-covered patio, a wrap-around balcony, dressing rooms, indoor toilets and accessible building features. Tables, chairs and other amenities can be arranged through the conservancy, and set-up and take-down are included in its wedding offering.

For other bookings, organisers can choose from several differently sized spaces. The lakefront patio seats up to 227 guests, while the DeVlieg Conservation Hall is suited to meetings, workshops and smaller gatherings. The Anderson Great Hall provides a more intimate setting for banquets, receptions and retreats. Smaller board and conference rooms are available for meetings, presentations and planning sessions, and the upper deck can be booked for gatherings such as networking or rehearsal dinners.

Food and drink options are available through the Wildlife Pub & Grill, including bar service and catering options. The setting also features ample parking and walking trails, giving guests room to enjoy the surrounding landscape. Event income supports the conservancy's wildlife and habitat work, connecting venue hire with the organisation's wider conservation mission.
