Evergreen Plantation

Evergreen Plantation is a historic countryside venue in Starr, South Carolina, offering event spaces across a landscaped estate. Couples can choose from several outdoor ceremony settings, including the front lawn, a gazebo beside the water garden and a spot framed by mature pecan trees. The grounds and historic home provide a distinctive backdrop for wedding photography and celebrations.

The Lodge is the main reception space, with a large banquet room, dance floor, stage, sound system and balcony. Its commercial kitchen is available for preparing meals, giving organisers the option to work with their chosen caterer. The Lodge's scale and facilities suit wedding receptions and other larger gatherings, while the estate's outdoor areas offer room for ceremonies and time with guests.

For smaller occasions, the Carriage House provides a more intimate setting for corporate retreats, board meetings and private dinners. It includes a sitting room with a fireplace and piano, a dining room, a game room, a deck overlooking the property and two guest bedrooms. A Bridal Cottage is also among the restored buildings on the estate.

Organisers can arrange a tour by appointment and contact the venue directly to discuss availability and event plans. The different spaces make the property suitable for weddings as well as selected business gatherings, from a focused board session to a multi-part celebration using both outdoor and indoor areas.
