Püttenhus
- Heideweg 3, 27801 Dötlingen, Germany
One of its main uses is for civil wedding ceremonies. The interior can accommodate up to 30 people for a ceremony. The registry office of the municipality of Dötlingen conducts the ceremonies, while the association helps with registration and arrangements for using the house. The association has also announced that free wedding ceremonies in the garden may be possible. Couples can agree on the details of the ceremony to suit their wishes.
As well as weddings, the house is used for meetings, association celebrations and art exhibitions. It is particularly well suited to smaller occasions and groups looking for an intimate atmosphere and a historic setting. For catering at a wedding celebration, the association refers guests to restaurants and other food businesses in Dötlingen rather than offering its own catering.
Anyone considering Püttenhus for a wedding ceremony or another event should check availability and the current conditions of use directly with Bürger- und Heimatverein. The house is a listed historic building, so the scope and arrangements for its use may be subject to specific requirements.
