The Gatsby on Main

The Gatsby on Main is a historic event venue in downtown Shelbyville, Kentucky, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions, galas, corporate meetings, brand unveilings and private celebrations. Its character comes from a building with a long local history, including its former life as a school gym and roller-skating rink. Today, preserved features such as the original gym floor and pressed-tin ceiling sit alongside an elegant, period-inspired look, giving organisers a memorable backdrop for both formal occasions and contemporary events.

The venue is particularly suited to couples planning a wedding, while its event offering also welcomes business gatherings and other celebrations. Organisers can enquire about wedding pricing and packages, with rental options varying according to the space, day and package selected. The venue's website invites clients to bring their own florists, caterers, DJs and live musicians, and says it can recommend trusted local professionals for those seeking ideas.

The Gatsby also presents nearby accommodation options through a separate lodging partner, which may be useful for wedding parties and guests travelling to Shelbyville. A group transport partner is featured for wedding parties, guest shuttles and late-night journeys. These are presented as partner services rather than in-house catering or entertainment. With its central Main Street location and historic interiors, The Gatsby provides event planners with a flexible indoor venue for occasions where atmosphere and an individual setting matter.
