Ambrosia Theater

Ambrosia Theater is an intimate black box performance venue in Grand Rapids, Michigan, available to hire for performances and a range of private and professional gatherings. The approximately 2,000-square-foot space is on the second floor of the Blackport Building in the East Hills and Uptown district. Its flexible layout can be adapted for different event formats, with tiered audience seating for up to around 70 guests.

Organisers can consider the theatre for dance and theatrical productions, comedy, music, rehearsals, workshops, photo shoots, receptions and private functions. The venue is equipped with lighting, projection, a Wi-Fi sound system, curtains, risers and chairs, giving planners useful stage and audience facilities in one compact setting. A green room provides performers with a separate space, while off-street parking is available for visitors.

Ambrosia offers rental options for weekday and weekend bookings, including full-day, weekend and hourly arrangements. The venue's flexible setup makes it suitable for productions that need a performance area as well as smaller gatherings seeking a distinctive room. Its intimate scale can work well for events where audiences want to feel close to the stage, and the adaptable seating and risers allow the space to be configured around the programme. Event planners can enquire about availability and booking arrangements directly with the theatre.
