Gloster House & Gardens

Gloster House is an eighteenth-century country estate in County Offaly, available to event planners for exclusive private hire. Set near Birr and the Slieve Bloom Mountains, the property combines a historic Georgian house with extensive gardens, woodland, terraces, lakes and water features. Its heritage character and range of settings suit celebrations that call for privacy and a distinctive sense of place.

Weddings are a central part of the venue's offering. Couples can use the White Chapel for a ceremony, then welcome guests in the house's reception rooms, courtyard or gardens. The Banqueting Room opens towards the grounds and can host a seated wedding meal. The venue also offers exclusive access for second-day celebrations, giving couples and their guests room to gather again after the wedding. On-site bedrooms are available for the bridal party, with further accommodation options in nearby towns.

The estate also welcomes corporate events, private parties and family celebrations. The White Chapel, Banqueting Room, courtyard and outdoor grounds provide different settings for gatherings, while the house's historic interiors make it suitable for events that need a memorable backdrop. Organisers can discuss exclusive use and tailor the spaces to their plans. Food is arranged through the venue's catering partners, and a bar service is available. The property is also offered as a filming location, although its main event business is venue hire.

Based in the Irish Midlands, Gloster House offers event planners a private country-house setting for weddings and selected corporate or social occasions, with indoor rooms and landscaped grounds available across the estate.
