Moody Gardens, inc

The MG 3D Theater at Moody Gardens is a large-format cinema and presentation space available for private bookings in Galveston, Texas. With seating for up to 400 guests, it gives event planners an indoor setting for private film screenings, business presentations and other gatherings that benefit from a theatre-style layout.

Organisers can arrange a screening of a Moody Gardens film or bring their own video content. The venue also supports corporate presentations, with Wi-Fi and audiovisual assistance available to help deliver a planned programme. Its fixed seating and large screen make it suited to audiences who need to focus on a shared presentation, film or visual experience rather than move between separate activity areas.

The theatre is part of the wider Moody Gardens destination, which offers additional event spaces, hotel accommodation, attractions and catering options elsewhere on site. This can be useful for planners considering a broader programme, though the MG 3D Theater itself is the feature venue for screenings and presentations. Other spaces at the destination include flexible meeting and ballroom facilities, exhibition areas and distinctive attraction settings, with event services available through Moody Gardens' sales teams.

For event planners, the theatre offers a clear choice when a large seated audience, big-screen content and on-site technical support are central to the event. Private bookings can be discussed with the venue's attractions sales team, who can advise on availability and suitable arrangements for the occasion.
