Ratskeller Merseburg

Ölgrube 2, 06217 Merseburg, Germany

Ratskeller Merseburg hires out event spaces for private celebrations and business occasions. Guests can choose from several areas in the venue, including a cocktail bar, a historic vaulted cellar and a restaurant. Depending on the room and seating arrangement, the venue can host both smaller gatherings and events for up to 250 guests. Ratskeller lists capacities of up to 120 people for seated events. The vaulted cellar is suitable for groups of up to 60 people, while the restaurant can host events for up to 80 guests.
The venue caters to couples, families, companies and groups planning a wedding, birthday, anniversary, class reunion or company celebration, among other occasions. Weddings are explicitly presented as a dedicated offering. When making an enquiry, organisers can provide the date, guest numbers and their wishes for the celebration. The team adapts use of the spaces to each occasion and offers food and drink for guests.
A professional lighting and sound system is available for events in the restaurant. The different areas create a range of atmospheres, from a sociable reception in the bar to a celebration in the vaulted cellar. Ratskeller does not have regular opening hours for the general public, but opens for events arranged in advance. Alongside hiring out its spaces for private celebrations, the venue also puts on its own themed evenings and programmes. For event planners looking for a centrally located celebration venue in Merseburg with several room options, Ratskeller offers a flexible setting.
