Mission Table

Mission Table is a private event and wedding venue on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, set within the historic Bowers Harbor Inn estate. It no longer operates as a restaurant for regular dining, focusing instead on private celebrations and events.

Organisers can choose from several rooms for gatherings of different sizes. The Harbor Room accommodates up to 60 guests and includes views across West Grand Traverse Bay, a stone fireplace and access to part of the deck for a drinks reception. Smaller groups can use the Bay Room or the upstairs Library, each suited to around 30 guests. For larger receptions, the combined ground floor can host up to 100 people, with space for dancing and an outdoor deck area. The estate also offers a lawn for wedding ceremonies, with the ceremony booked alongside a dinner reception.

The venue welcomes weddings, birthdays, corporate events and holiday parties. Its event team works with organisers to shape the occasion and coordinate the details. Dinner packages feature house-made dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients from local farms and suppliers, with menu choices that can be adjusted for dietary needs. Appetisers, plated meals, desserts and drinks packages are available, and the venue provides tableware, tables, chairs, linen napkins and attentive service for wedding receptions.
