Charlton Park Estate

Set just outside Malmesbury in Wiltshire, Charlton Park Estate offers event organisers a historic countryside setting with room for occasions ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions. Its 4,500 acres include open parkland, gardens and woodland, giving planners a choice of distinct outdoor backdrops and space to shape an event around its own format and atmosphere.

The estate welcomes wedding celebrations, including marquee receptions and outdoor ceremonies in the gardens or woodland. Couples and planners can make use of the grounds for photographs and consider camping or glamping for a longer celebration. The Grade I listed mansion provides a striking historic backdrop, while the estate office can share contacts for event professionals such as caterers, coordinators, florists and decorators.

For larger events, the grounds can accommodate festivals, markets, stages, installations, camping, glamping, backstage areas and visitor parking. Organisers can also enquire about the estate for corporate gatherings, brand activations, product launches, private functions and retreats. Depending on the event, site infrastructure such as water, power and vehicle access can be arranged.

The estate is also available for film, television and editorial shoots, with a range of settings that include historic architecture, fields, meadows, gardens and woodland. Its private grounds and varied landscapes offer production teams options for filming as well as space for equipment and unit bases.

Located within reach of the M4, Malmesbury and nearby mainline railway stations, Charlton Park Estate combines a rural feel with practical access for guests and crews. Event organisers can contact the estate office to discuss their plans, the suitable areas and the arrangements required for their event.
