The Attic at Waterman's

The Attic at Waterman's is a private event venue on the second floor of Waterman's Surfside Grille, overlooking the Virginia Beach boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean. Its coastal setting and distinctive interior make it a fitting choice for couples, families and organisations planning a gathering by the sea. Large windows frame the ocean views, while hardwood floors, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and a mahogany bar provide a warm backdrop for a range of event styles.

The venue welcomes wedding celebrations, including receptions, rehearsal dinners and engagement parties. It also hosts birthdays, anniversaries, business meetings, corporate dinners and other private functions. Depending on the format and room layout, the space can accommodate seated dinners as well as more informal cocktail-style gatherings. Event organisers can discuss the arrangements with the venue's special events team, who help coordinate details and tailor the setup to the occasion.

Food and drink are provided by the Waterman's team, with event menus prepared by its culinary staff and bar service available in the space. This gives planners the option of organising the venue, meal and drinks through one location. The room's neutral decor gives hosts flexibility to add their own colours and finishing touches, subject to venue policies. Tables, chairs and event linens are available for seated functions, and valet parking is offered for guests.

Located at 415 Atlantic Avenue, The Attic is close to the Virginia Beach Convention Center and Norfolk International Airport. The venue is available throughout the year, making it an option for both seasonal celebrations and business occasions. Organisers can contact the events team to ask about availability, capacities, menus, policies and a private viewing of the space.
