Priston Village Hall

Priston Village Hall is a community hall available for private and organisational hire in Priston, near Bath. It provides a practical setting for celebrations, meetings, classes and local gatherings, with weddings and civil partnerships specifically welcomed. Couples can use the hall for a civil, non-religious ceremony followed by a reception, subject to booking and the necessary legal arrangements.

The main room measures about 11.6 by 4.9 metres, excluding the stage, and is suited to parties of up to around 100 people or seated events for roughly 60 to 70 guests. The stage offers space for performances, speeches or presentations. Hirers have access to a kitchen with cooking and hot-drink equipment, crockery and cutlery, as well as tables, chairs and accessible toilet facilities. Rear access is available for disabled visitors, and the hall has a hearing loop and ultrafast broadband.

Audio-visual options include a sound system, radio microphones and a digital projector with a pull-down screen, useful for talks, presentations and screenings. Organisers should mention their requirements when booking. Limited car parking is available beside the hall, and a marquee may also be hired for selected occasions, subject to availability and hire terms.

Managed by a local committee, the hall can be booked for birthday parties, wedding receptions, community events, exhibitions, quizzes and meetings. Organisers can contact the booking manager to discuss availability, facilities, charges and any requirements for their event.
