KK's Steel Mill

KK's Steel Mill offers event organisers a distinctive venue in Wolverhampton, set within a former Star Motor Company factory dating from 1903. Its industrial heritage, original steel framework and broad open central space give the building a characterful setting for live productions and other event formats.

The venue is best known for concerts and music events, with layouts available for audiences of around 550, 1,100 or 2,000 people. A separate lounge can accommodate smaller shows of about 200 guests. Organisers can discuss which format suits their production and audience, making the site relevant for both intimate performances and larger gatherings. The building is also presented as a flexible pop-up space for art exhibitions and product launches, alongside its programme of major music events.

Practical facilities include a cloakroom and food service at shows, with refreshments available from the venue's snack bar. The site provides level access, and a raised seated area can be booked subject to limited availability. Essential companion tickets are available for eligible disabled guests. Nearby parking options include public car parks and on-street spaces, while the venue's bars and amenities accept cash, card and contactless payments.

Located on Frederick Street, KK's Steel Mill gives organisers an atmospheric alternative to a conventional hall, particularly for events that benefit from a prominent stage setting and an industrial backdrop. Enquiries about venue information and bookings can be directed to the venue team.
