Gathering Acres Event Center

Gathering Acres Event Center is a countryside venue in southern Lafayette, Indiana, offering a setting for weddings, family celebrations and gatherings for organisations. The venue welcomes couples planning ceremonies and receptions, as well as hosts arranging quinceañeras, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, reunions, corporate parties and meetings. Its climate-controlled facilities are available throughout the year, and the venue states that it can accommodate events for up to 300 guests.

Organisers can choose from different venue packages. The basic option includes tables and chairs arranged to suit the event, use of the couple's rooms, a stage backdrop, a projector and screen, sound equipment and coloured lighting. A covered outdoor patio of around 1,500 square feet is also available, with a bar service window. A more comprehensive package adds set-up and take-down of decorations, linens, table details, signage and support from an event coordinator. Venue staff also provide cleaning during dinner and after the event.

The team can help hosts work through planning details and find suitable suppliers, while clients remain free to choose their own caterer, photographer, DJ and other vendors. Gathering Acres publishes a preferred-vendor directory as a starting point. Alcohol service is provided through the venue, which holds the relevant liquor licence, and organisers can ask about drink packages and other available additions. A photo booth can also be hired for an event.

The venue is located on a property shared with the owners' private residence, so visits and tours should be arranged in advance. This gives prospective clients the opportunity to discuss their plans, review package options and see whether the space suits their occasion.
